With a wealth of collective expertise, they continuously push the boundaries of gaming design and development, providing advanced solutions and the B2B partners in the iGaming sector.

As part of their thriving B2B team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the global iGaming client by managing Online Gaming platforms. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal platform performance and availability, offering third / fourth-level troubleshooting support, and liaising with service providers and third parties. Additionally, you’ll provide technical support across various roles within the organization.

Your key job responsibilities as the Infrastructure Engineer (PEG) in Cape Town will include :

Responsibilities
  • Engage in designing and implementing new setups
  • Contribute to process enhancement and automation initiatives
  • Evaluate and design systems / services for suitability in production environments
  • Proactively monitor and support live and staging infrastructure
  • Address any live or staging issues promptly
  • Participate in periodic software releases
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer support issues
  • Manage service requests, incidents, problems, and change requests using ITIL best practices
  • Assist in detailed investigations into problems, including log and metrics analysis, to provide thorough analysis, resolution, and prevention strategies
Requirements
  • Proven commercial experience in Linux environments
  • Strong IT knowledge, especially in Linux technologies
  • Skilled in detecting and analyzing alarms for fault isolation and remote troubleshooting
  • Acts as a technical resource during outages until resolution
  • Proficient in log analysis for troubleshooting, including identifying cybersecurity threats
  • Familiarity with virtualization (Openstack, Vmware)
  • Cloud experience (Google GKE, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Openshift / OKD)
  • Strong networking skills, including packet capture and analysis
  • Expertise in log analysis and setting up aggregated logging systems (Splunk / EFK)
  • Proficient in monitoring and metrics analysis and systems implementation (Grafana, Graphite, Prometheus, Zabbix, etc.)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure orchestration systems (Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
  • Experience with code repositories (GitHub / GitLab)
  • Proficiency in MongoDB administration and deployment, including clusters and data replication
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of DNS / HTTPS certificates
