Overview

Cox is a world leader in both technological and installed capacity in solar thermal technology. Its offer in this field includes technological advice, engineering services, EPC, consulting, component development (solar field) or O&M services.

Cox South Africa is looking for a Human Resources Officer to assist the HR Manager with all aspects of the Human Resources Department, ensuring that all procedures comply with SA legislation.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment of all salary employees and arranging pre-engagement medicals, drawing up of contracts of employment
  • Assist, advise and identify any labour risks which could apply
  • Assist in the drawing up of training plans
  • Ensure that all engagement, termination, transfer documentations is completed accurately and submitted timeously to the payroll administrator
  • Prepare monthly reports when requested for the HR Manager
  • Manage all induction process
  • Follow up on performance evaluations, surveys etc that are conducted to ensure compliance
  • Attend CCMA hearings when requested
  • Co-ordinate all disciplinary and grievance hearings on site and take notes during the hearings
Requirements
  • HR Diploma.
  • Minimum 3 years HR experience in a construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Code 8 Drivers licence.
  • Knowledge in SA Legislation, BCEA, LRA.
