Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to manufacturing and commercial teams
  • Coach and support line managers across performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, and change management
  • Drive and manage fair, compliant recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Lead Employment Equity processes, including committee participation and statutory submissions
  • Ensure full compliance with labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHASA) and internal HR policies
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance, and performance improvement processes
  • Oversee HR governance, audits, and policy development
  • Support payroll review, benefits administration, and claims processing
  • Maintain accurate HR data and act as custodian of HR systems and performance management platforms
  • Plan and execute CSI initiatives and company events
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in HR / Industrial or Organisational Psychology (advantageous)
  • Minimum 6 years’ HR experience within the pharmaceutical or medical industry in a multinational organisation (non‑negotiable)
  • Proven experience with Employment Equity and HR audit submissions
  • Strong HR Business Partnering experience within complex, regulated environments
  • Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation
  • Experience working with HRIS and digital HR platforms
