HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS TEACHER

To Commence January 2026.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Bring an innovative, progressive approach to teaching Mathematics to GET (Grades 8-9) and FET (Grades 10-12) phases.
  • Bring a progressive, innovative approach to teaching Mathematics in a differentiated classroom, addressing the diverse needs of learners.
  • Possess strong knowledge of the IEB assessment procedures and have experience preparing learners for the rigours of the NSC Examinations.
  • Experience marking Matric exams in Mathematics and/or Mathematical Literacy is advantageous.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in education and technology.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team, including educators in other phases, to develop innovative curriculum strategies.
  • Have strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Be willing to engage in continuous professional development and mentoring, if necessary.
  • Understand and commit to the Marist ethos and mission of Sacred Heart College, contributing to the holistic development of learners.
