Overview

A leading water tank company is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing with strong experience in strategic planning, digital marketing, content management and team leadership to join their team in Maxmead KZN SA. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader to drive measurable growth through creative and data-driven solutions by leading and implementing strategic marketing initiatives. If you have 5-8 years of experience in a middle-senior marketing role and a passion for developing structured and consistent marketing processes we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Lead the creation, approval and distribution of content across multiple channels.
• Plan, manage and oversee the content calendar and campaign rollout.
• Direct the coordination, planning and execution of expos, trade shows and customer-facing events.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide high-impact marketing collateral, presentations, and tools to support lead generation and sales closure.
• Manage and optimise customer databases, lead pipelines and CRM integration.
• Manage digital marketing initiatives including social media strategies, website performance and email campaigns.
• Analyse marketing performance metrics and generate reports to inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to deliver effective marketing outcomes.
• Ensure brand consistency, tone of voice and messaging across all touchpoints.
• Manage the department’s budget, forecasting and vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field (essential).
• 5-8 years in a middle-senior level marketing role with proven experience in strategic planning, digital marketing, content management and team leadership.
• Exceptional content strategy and copywriting skills.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing analytics and SEO/SEM.
• Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Advanced project and event management.
• Leadership and team development capabilities.
• Excellent organisational planning and budgeting skills.
• Graphic design acumen (using Canva / Adobe Suite) and an eye for brand quality.
