Job summary

We’re looking for a well-presented and professional Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to join a prestigious estate in Stellenbosch on a fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming manner, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-end hospitality environment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12; a hospitality qualification will be an advantage.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a reception or switchboard role, ideally in a hospitality setting.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Well‑organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work flexible hospitality hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Professional, friendly, and confident when dealing with guests.
