The Role: FinOps Analyst

This role supports both financial operations and funding cycles, ensuring accuracy of accounting data and alignment across systems like Sage and Salesforce. You'll be involved in reconciliations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, while also contributing to operational processes. It's a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced startup setting and wants exposure beyond pure finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Post accurate bookkeeping entries and manage reconciliations
  • Reconcile bank accounts and investigate anomalies
  • Ensure data integrity between Sage and Salesforce
  • Support month‑end close processes
  • Assist with loan funding processes and payment disbursements
  • Manage holding accounts and capture loan‑level data
  • Create internal and external financial reports
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Support client queries and send monthly account statements
About You
  • BCOM Accounting degree or equivalent
  • At least 2 years accounting experience using financials
  • Able to do accounting entries on an accounting platform (e.g. Sage)
  • Familiar with Salesforce or willing to learn
  • Analytical thinker with strong numerical and problem‑solving skills
