Job summary

A recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare management accounts, and ensure tax compliance. The ideal candidate has over 3 years in senior financial operations, strong leadership skills, and a relevant finance/accounting degree. Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred. This is an on-site position in Cape Town.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller oversees accounts payable and receivable, prepares management accounts for SA, supports group month-end close, manages local tax compliance, and leads the finance operations team. The role ensures strong internal controls, accurate ledger management, and efficient processes across multiple entities.
