Overview

To drive sales performance by applying established processes to achieve individual targets within the assigned area. Build and sustain strong customer relationships through effective engagement and exceptional service delivery. Contribute to team success by consistently meeting objectives and supporting a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Apply appropriate sales processes within area of responsibility to achieve sales targets and build client relationships.
  • Deliver end-to-end client management through continuous engagement with the client on process milestones, selling the FNB value proposition, facilitating the application process on behalf of the client, preparing the proposal to credit, managing internal dependencies, closing the deal, and managing post-sale queries when relevant.
  • Analyse competitor information and monitor market trends to identify new business opportunities affecting the industry.
  • Track, control, and influence sales activities to achieve previously determined sales targets in line with quality, productivity and sales requirements.
  • Maintain expert knowledge on specific products, pricing, application procedures, processing times, and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
  • Understand governance, regulatory and audit requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Source new leads and retrieve qualified leads from internal channel sales pipeline; contact existing or new customers to generate sales; network through external contacts and other channels to grow the customer base if required.
  • Contact prospective clients and sell appropriate banking products to achieve sales targets.
  • Maximise cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships within the portfolio.
  • Maintain awareness of market needs to design and deliver innovative, customized value-adding solutions for clients.
  • Continuously develop own competencies and knowledge relevant to the role.
Qualifications
  • Completed a FSCA-recognized FAIS-relevant NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
  • Completed First Level Regulatory Examination.
