Executive Financial Advisor - Independent (Commissioned)

Our client is looking for qualified and experienced Financial Advisors to join their team. The successful candidates will provide expert financial advice, develop tailored solutions (with all insurance company codes to provide to your client), and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, a customer‑focused approach, and the necessary industry qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive financial advice to clients on investments, insurance, estate planning, and retirement options.
  • Assess client needs and develop customised financial plans and recommendations.
  • Source new business opportunities and build strong, long‑term client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Stay updated with financial market trends, products, and changes in legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports.
  • Assist clients with claims, policy updates, and service queries.
Minimum Requirements
  • RE5 qualification (compulsory)
  • NQF Level 5 qualification in finance, insurance, economics, or legal studies
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a financial advisor or in a related financial services role
  • Strong understanding of financial products, investment vehicles, and regulatory environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills
  • Proficiency in financial planning tools and MS Office
