A local hospitality firm in Knysna is seeking an Events Coordinator to assist in planning and executing events. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, strong English skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include client interaction and overseeing all event details to ensure success.
What Is Required:
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Manager in driving sales and the planning, coordination and supervision of events, to aid the food & beverage team in delivering their operational objectives. The successful applicant will be required to assist clients and groups with all the relevant event protocols, this will include but is not limited to, guest accommodation, event activity and any tailored requirements. The Events Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for clients, working closely with them to understand their needs and preferences, while overseeing, with the managers support, all aspects of the event to ensure successful execution.
