Job summary

A local recruitment agency in Tzaneen is seeking an IT Support professional responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling and electrical wiring. The role requires fluency in Afrikaans and a diploma or degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering. Candidates must have strong IT skills, a valid driver's license, and be eligible to work in South Africa. This position offers the opportunity to enhance system reliability and performance.

  • Conduct software upgrades and routine maintenance.

Proficiency in Afrikaans (spoken and written)
Solid IT skills

Ability to perform accurate machine calibration
Knowledge of PLC systems

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling and electrical wiring to ensure optimal infrastructure performance.
  • Provide comprehensive IT support by diagnosing and resolving issues related to PC hardware and software
  • Install and configure specialized software in alignment with operational and business requirements
  • Maintain and update databases to support system efficiency and data integrity
  • Conduct software upgrades and perform routine maintenance to enhance IT system reliability and performance
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both clients and colleagues, with fluency in Afrikaans being essential for clear and efficient communication
Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Afrikaans is essential
  • Solid IT skills paired with a strong background in electronic technology
  • Proven ability to perform accurate machine calibration
  • Knowledge of PLC systems
Qualification
