Job description
SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer – Team Lead to lead the design and development of control systems for satellite platforms. The successful candidate will combine strong hands‑on technical expertise with proven leadership skills, guiding a multi‑disciplinary engineering team through the full product lifecycle of space‑qualified systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and verification of satellite control systems (e.g. AOCS, power control, and actuator/sensor interfaces).
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of electronic and control systems engineers.
  • Define system architecture, control algorithms, and electronic designs, compliant with space standards.
  • Oversee requirements definition, design reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Support system integration, testing, and validation at the unit, subsystem, and satellite levels.
  • Interface with systems engineering, software, mechanical, and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant space, reliability, and safety standards (e.g. ECSS and MIL).
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps, risk assessments, and project planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in electronic and/or control systems engineering.
  • Proven experience with satellite or spaceborne systems.
  • Strong background in control theory, control system design, and implementation.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
  • Hands‑on experience with electronic design (analog/digital), simulations, and testing.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real‑time control environments.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
