Job description

• To take full responsibility of drawings and projects assigned
• To ensure that all drawings are produced in compliance with the programs, procedures, and policies of the organisation
• Produce drawings in such a way as required to assure processes and standards are met
• To ensure good communication is given, either verbally or written to all members of staff in regards to drawings.
• Work with relevant parties on non-conformances and make corrections as necessary.
• Assist with quality targets, smooth running of the production processes
• Partake in Company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) through the ISO system
• Minimises waste and cost and ensures conformance to safety and quality
• Take responsibility in area of influence of the quality and product that is produced in line with the company's quality systems, processes, and procedures
• Problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used to assist in identifying root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand
• To have an active role in the company's continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace using 5S and ISO
• Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the company's organisational structure
• Partake in stocktake when required
• Any reasonable duties assigned by the Factory Manager
