Construction Manager – Mining Projects

Kazakhstan (preference for local candidates)

Fluent Russian & English required

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary construction activities for major mining EPC/EPCM projects in Kazakhstan.

Industry Experience

• Mining projects only (not petroleum or gas)
• Preference: zinc, copper, gold mining projects
• Experience in crusher, materials handling, underground mining, or infrastructure projects
• Second preference: nickel, cobalt, PGM’s

Experience & Skills

• 10–15 years in engineering & design / EPC/EPCM projects, with at least 7 years in construction management
• Multi-disciplinary construction management: mechanical, piping, civil (earthworks & structural), electrical/C&I
• Experience managing multiple engineering contractors/suppliers
• Underground mining construction experience advantageous
• Local Kazakhstan project experience is a strong plus

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil (civil/mechanical preferred) or Construction Management
• Equivalent technologist/technician qualifications accepted with sufficient experience
• Must be fluent in Russian & English; knowledge of local dialects advantageous
