Concept Artist & Illustrator required in Johannesburg.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm ideas and create initial sketches for characters, environments, props, and other visual elements based on project briefs.
• Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D artwork, including detailed illustrations, digital paintings, and specification sheets for production teams.
• Create storyboards, design motion graphics, and contribute to the animation process from concept to rendering.
• Work closely with directors, art directors, producers, and other team members to clarify briefs and present concepts.
• Actively incorporate feedback to refine and iterate on designs until the project’s vision is met.
• Manage project timelines, meet deadlines, and provide assistance for marketing materials.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in graphic design or fine art preferred.
• Proficient in a variety of digital 2D and 3D software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, and Blender.
