Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Stellenbosch is seeking an Architectural Technologist to design and develop cost-effective layouts adhering to operational and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will implement architectural design principles, manage multiple projects, and improve existing processes. Essential qualifications include a National Diploma in Architectural Technology with 3-7 years of relevant experience in commercial architecture, especially in healthcare. This is a permanent on-site role.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years in Architectural Technology in Commercial Architecture.
• 5 – 7 years in Architectural Technology in Commercial Architecture specific emphasis on Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Perform concept planning and detail development within the Architectural Design Team.
• Ensure implementation of architectural designs principles.
• Implement the workflow of multiple projects within the Architectural Design Team.
• Continuously improve facilities and processes.
• Perform administration and record keeping duties.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To design and develop cost effective workable concept layouts that adhere to operational requirements, Mediclinic and regulatory standards, as well as to improve existing design process, including operational nursing process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Perform concept planning and detail development within the Architectural Design Team
• Ensure implementation of architectural designs principles within the Architectural Design Team
• Implement the workflow of multiple projects within the Architectural Design Team
• Continuously improve facilities and processes within the Architectural Design Team
• Perform administration and record keeping duties within the Architectural Design Team
• Assist with commissioning of designed facility within Infrastructure
• Maintain stakeholder and client relationships within the Architectural Design Team

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

• National Diploma Architectural Technology (3 Years)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE :

• 3 - 5 years in Architectural Technology in Commercial Architecture

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5 – 7 years in Architectural Technology in Commercial Architecture specific emphasis on Healthcare
