Overview

Provide specialist support to various business areas with analyzed information on performance indicators and business value drivers. Extract reliable, high-quality data from information and operational systems to enable production of main operational KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Intelligence Measurements and Reporting
  • Research on customer buying and data usage patterns to enable holistic analysis
  • Assist with data extraction for customers from internal and external sources within MTN SA and the regional market
  • Assist in data cleanups to ensure data is updated and pruned
  • Scrutinize data to determine SWOT across MTN Western Cape Regional segments
  • Report on relevant performance metrics for business objectives
  • Facilitate accurate data analysis and reporting of customer analytics and intelligence
  • Deliver insightful market intelligence and insights to support business intelligence objectives using customer analytics
  • Interpret data and develop relevant recommendations based on findings
  • Develop graphs, reports and presentations of project results
  • Perform basic statistical analysis for projects and reports
  • Create and present quality dashboards
  • Generate standard monthly and ad hoc reports
  • Internal Processes and Efficiency
  • Prioritise requests and coordinate with IT to ensure availability, storage, sharing and data integrity
  • Support data and application design for the implementation of automated customer analytics
  • Ensure effective use of the USD / JAZZ system within the department to log and action customer requests
  • Provide recommendations regarding campaign consolidation, integration, automation and optimisation based on job requests
  • Provide insights into ways to target customers
Operational Planning and Management
  • Plan and coordinate data extraction and reporting processes
  • Consider long-term implications (1-2 years) of actions from a broad perspective
  • Consider local conditions and competitor activity

  • Interacting with team members within CMO Pricing, Research and Intelligence and EBU to deliver on Customer Lifecycle management priorities
  • Support the Marketing team regionally to deliver customer lifestyle management objectives

  • Proficient in MS Office and Statistical Software Packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, JMP, SQL, R)
