• Daily Maintenance Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee daily maintenance activities with internal teams and contractors. Ensure timely and effective task completion. Record daily progress and prepare schedules for upcoming work.
• Equipment Troubleshooting & Support: Identify and resolve equipment faults and failures. Support both corrective and preventive maintenance actions. Ensure reliable and consistent equipment operation.
• Vendor & Shutdown Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for routine and shutdown maintenance. Manage work planning, site activities, and communication with production. Ensure smooth execution of major maintenance events.
• Maintenance Planning & Reliability Improvement: Assist in developing long-term maintenance strategies. Collaborate with production and contractors to improve equipment reliability. Support initiatives to prevent recurring issues.
• Inventory & Procurement Support: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory. Handle receiving, issuing, and stock updates. Assist with procurement of tools, spares, and services.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records: calibration logs, maintenance files, and work orders. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs. Support audits and documentation reviews.
• Safety & Continuous Improvement: Adhere to AKSS EHS policies and safety standards. Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 systems. Contribute to minimizing Major Accident Hazards (MAHs) to ALARP levels.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
• Min 5 years’ experience as Maintenance supervisor/Engineer in a chemical plant.
• Must have knowledge and hand-on troubleshooting experience on Chemical Plant equipment’s.
• Basic understanding of Maintenance technology, Mechanical equipment’s & manufacturing process.
• Good team player and communication skills with right attitude towards work progress.
