Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Production Supervisor for a semicon industry role in Woodlands. The ideal candidate will monitor production activities while ensuring quality and efficiency targets are met. A Diploma or Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience are required. Candidates will be notified only if shortlisted.

Job Description

• Supervise day-to-day activities of production. Provide guidance to ensure that production and quality goals are met and plant rules are enforced.
• Ensure all products are produced within quality guidelines and manufactured as per schedule.
• Identify, recommend and help implement means to improve area’s operation, including quality enhancements, safety improvements, employee development,efficiency improvement and cost reductions.
• Co‑coordinate with NPI team to ensure First articles are shipped on time
• Prepare and submit all required reports especially production schedule report on a timely basis.
• Need to monitor manufacturing cycle time,ensure the efficiency targets of all production technicians is met
• Need to ensure the Daily/weekly and Monthly O/p targets are met
• Monitor scrap and ensure is within the targets
• Co‑coordinate with Buyer/Planners for shortage of materials and production schedules
• Work with Equipment maintenance team in automation projects and ensure daily output of the equipments is met
• Plan for Overtime of production team depending on production schedules
• Co‑coordinate with process Engineering team on daily process issue and improvement projects
• Ensure production team is cross trained for optimum use of Technicians

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering related field
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
