Job Summary

Monitor and manage inventory and warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock levels, organized storage, and timely delivery of goods. Perform quality checks, handle loading and unloading, and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. Report daily progress to the Director.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily inventory levels and report discrepancies between physical stock and computerized records to the director and his assistant.
• Communicate with the director/director assistant to initiate orders when inventory falls below required levels.
• Perform quality checks on received goods and reject defective items to maintain product standards.
• Receive and unload container loads from suppliers safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and load goods onto lorries for daily deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Organize and arrange goods within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
• Move and restructure warehouse inventory to accommodate new stock and maintain order.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and store, including assisting with closing duties.
• Report daily work progress and any issues directly to the Director.
• Handle heavy items such as cement packages, refrigerators, washers, and televisions safely and responsibly.
• Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
• Adhere to shift schedules including weekends and public holidays, demonstrating professionalism and maturity.
• Continuously learn and improve performance to maintain sustainable good conduct and work quality.

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid Singapore Forklift licence.
