Job summary
A construction company in Singapore is looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and coordinate various engineering works. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and possess at least 5 years of experience in structural coordination for building construction projects. Responsibilities include overseeing site works, liaising with consultants, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Immediate availability is preferred.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in structural coordination for building construction.
- Strong knowledge of structural specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and plan for civil and structural engineering works.
- Coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors on project specifications.
- Oversee all structural works on site and ensure compliance with drawings.
Skills
Education
- Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
- Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
- Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
- To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
- To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
- Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project
- Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
- Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
- Min 5 years structural coordinator experience in building construction Project
- Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
- Preference will be given to those who can commence immediately
