Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore seeks an experienced architect to handle shop drawings, supervise subcontractors, and ensure compliance with local building codes. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Building/Architecture and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of Singapore Building Codes and local quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Review, coordinate, and produce architectural shop drawings.
- Supervise and inspect architectural works by subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with architectural specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate services with other trades and manage documentation.
- Monitor adherence to project timelines, quality, and safety standards.
Skills
Education
- Review, coordinate, and produce architectural shop drawings and related works for projects.
- Supervise and inspect architectural works carried out by subcontractors on site.
- Ensure compliance with architectural specifications, Singapore Building Codes, and quality standards such as BCA CONQUAS.
- Coordinate architectural services with other trades and manage scheduling, material requisition, cost control, and documentation.
- Monitor adherence to project timelines, quality, and safety standards.
- Degree in Building/Architecture or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the Construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Building Codes, regulations, and local quality standards.
- Familiarity with construction safety requirements
