Job summary
A life sciences consultancy in Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee API manufacturing and ensure compliance with GMP standards. Job Description
- Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
 - Oversee API manufacturing and plant operations during the 12-hour shift, including supervising critical process steps, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth execution aligned with the production schedule.
 - Manage non-conformances by facilitating communication within and across teams, providing investigation input, ensuring timely documentation correction, and preventing delays in batch release.
 - Support operational excellence by conducting GEMBA walks, identifying improvement opportunities, driving process enhancements, and maintaining the plant in a constant state of audit readiness.
 - Lead or contribute to Tier 2 meetings, cross-functional discussions, and safety assessments (e.g., PHA), while ensuring adherence to EHS standards and promoting a proactive safety culture through positive interventions.
 - Assist the Manufacturing Manager/Lead in daily planning and area activities, and act as deputy during their absence. Represent the team in cross-functional matters as assigned.
 - Prepare and revise SOPs, JSTM, and ensure documentation accuracy. Support execution to minimize human error and provide CAPA input as needed.
 - Mentor, coach, and train chemical technicians, participate in recruitment, manage team performance, and cultivate a collaborative, values-driven work environment.
 - Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients
 
Job Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Life Science, Chemical Engineering, Science or equivalent
 - At least 10 years of pharmaceutical, experience in a GMP environment (preferably API)
 - Minimum of 2 years of people management experience is preferred
 - Able to work comfortably in 12-hour rotating shift (Day/Night)
 - Leadership experience in training less experienced Chemical Technicians required
 - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
