Job summary

A major logistics company in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Technician responsible for planning and executing maintenance, ensuring the compliance with safety standards, and providing supervision. The ideal candidate should have at least NITEC in relevant fields and a Class 3 driving license. Relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems is preferred. This role is essential for minimizing downtime and supporting operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle / Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic.
• Relevant working experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/ Electronic & Pneumatic.
• Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Recommend overhaul of equipment to ensure no disruption to operations.
• Provide supervision to the supervisor/Maintenance Technician.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, co-ordinates, and execution on with servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance to comply with safety to ensure minimum downtime
• Recommend overhaul of equipment to ensure no disruption to operations, best rectification proposal
• Provide supervision to supervisor/ Maintenance Technician
• Ensures troubleshooting, rectification, and re-activation of equipment to avoid delays and downtime during breakdown maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures
• Ensures safety policies, practices and good housekeeping are enforced
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Requirements
