As aSales Support Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Process the customer's order from the receipt of the order to the shipment (order follow-up)
Enters customer Purchase Orders with high level of accuracy
Resolves issues on customer Purchase Orders with sales team.
Send an acknowledgement of receipt and communicates information about orders to customers within 48 hours
Contributes to team goal of confirming all customer orders within hours, long orders in under 24 hours.
Handle customer requests for order follow-up: status, tracking numbers, shipping documents, credit card receipts, etc.
Ensure that the orders are correctly reserved by the system
Send “open order report” to customers with accurate information and comments as recommended by the sales representative
Update “past due” accurately daily
Understand all customer terms and requirements
Be proactive in informing Inside sales and/or customers about delivery issues impacting their supply chain.
Accepts overflow work from the Sales director as needed.
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Possess a Diploma in any related fields or equivalent
