Job summary
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Executive/Sales Engineer to drive sales in data center and semiconductor sectors. Candidates should possess a Diploma in engineering, with a knack for telemarketing and cold calling. Responsibilities include contacting clients, preparing proposals, and achieving sales targets. This indoor sales role features a competitive salary of $3,000 - $3,500 plus bonuses, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, five days a week.
Qualifications
- Min Diploma in any engineering background.
- Prefer candidates with experience in data center or semiconductor.
- Comfortable with telemarketing and cold calling.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers over calls, emails, and in person.
- Handle and resolve client queries and complaints.
- Prepare and draft proposals and quotes.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Identify potential clients through market research.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
Skills
Education
- Working location: Bukit Merah (Redhill MRT)
- Working Days: 5 Days
- Working Hours: 8.30am - 6pm
- Salary: $3,000 - $3,500 + Bonus

- Contacting customers and potential customers over calls, emails, and in person.
- Handling and resolving client queries and complaints.
- Preparing, and drafting proposals and quotes.
- Achieving daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, keeping them updated about company products and services.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Communicate client feedback to the product development team.
- Work towards achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports, forecast future sales trends, and quarterly review and budget.
- Participate in sales training and professional development opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal coordinators to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer service.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- identifying opportunities for the company, managing relationships with potential partners and creating business strategies.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Understand company’s product positioning and keep tabs on competitors.
