Job description

We are looking for a professional qualified Senior Operations Manager Work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that are high in demand and popular with customers. Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service etc.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Operational leadership of F&B and Hospitality team
  • Responsible for the delivery of the overall operational metrics & sales targets
  • Coordinate daily Front-of-the House and Back-of-the-House Restaurant Operations
  • Set and Review Quality Performance Standards. Regularly review product quality and research new vendors. Identify and highlight further opportunities for services and process improvements.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction. Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints. Train current and new employees on proper customer service practices
  • Human Resource (HR) management including conducting return to work interviews, authorizing holiday requests, the implementation of any disciplinary procedures, dealing with grievances, organizing, and supervising shifts, and conducting annual appraisals. Motivate and effectively performance manage Operations Managers within the account to ensure delivery of overall targets and business plan.
  • Manage supply chain resources and ensure accurate inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Manage restaurant’s brand image and marketing activities. Promote the brand in the local community through multiple channels e.g., word-of-mouth, restaurant events, social media campaigns, advertising and co-branding. Recommend ways to reach a broader audience.
  • Control operational costs, identify measures to cut waste and maintain efficiency metrics.
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Implement policies and protocols for Business Continuity to maintain future restaurant operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a Managerial role in the F&B and Hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills, with proven ability to manage large, diverse teams.
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
  • Experience in F&B and Hospitality Hygiene is necessary for this role. Experience in Compliance with Health & Safety procedures (HSA, FSSAI, etc) is essential.
  • Experience in vendor management and supply chain management for F&B is critical
  • Fluent in the English Language and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Highly skilled in operations fiscal management.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and execute with pace.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration; hospitality management
  • Ability to demonstrate achievement of results e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation
  • International coordination and travel would be needed (in line with pandemic regulations) to oversee operational setup as well as vendor and supply chain management.
