Job summary
A leading construction company in Singapore seeks a skilled M&E Project Coordinator/Engineer to oversee mechanical and electrical works on-site. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating projects, reviewing technical drawings, and managing subcontractors. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in a relevant field and have at least one year of M&E coordination experience in the construction industry. Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with local regulations are also required. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary package.

- Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant M&E coordination experience in the Singapore construction industry.
- Able to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiar with local codes, practices, and authority submission procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on site.
- Review technical drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies and reporting them to the Project Manager.
- Maintain and monitor all M&E-related documentation and records.
- Coordinate shop drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Supervise and manage M&E sub-contractors to ensure timely execution of work.
- Liaise with relevant authorities, clients, and sub-contractors.
- Organize and lead M&E coordination meetings.
- Update and report on M&E progress and issues to the Project Manager.
- Collaborate effectively with site teams.
- Negotiate and seek approval for M&E-related changes.

- Working Location: Mandai Estate
- Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus + Medical & Dental Benefits
- Duration: Permanent
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on site

- Liaise with relevant authorities, clients, and sub-contractors on matters related to shop drawings, equipment submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning
- Organize and lead M&E coordination meetings to align all parties involved
- Update and report on M&E progress, issues, and developments to the Project Manager
- Collaborate effectively with site teams to ensure smooth workflow and project execution
- Negotiate and seek approval for any M&E-related changes while ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards & other ad‑hoc duties as assigned
- Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
