Job summary

A global manufacturing company is looking for a PMC Manager in Singapore. The successful candidate will oversee production material control, manage scheduling and materials planning, and ensure optimal inventory accuracy. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in the electronic manufacturing industry, with 2 years in a management role. Strong command of English and Putonghua is essential, along with experience in MRP applications. This role requires some travel to production plants in China.

Global manufacturer & supplier of graphic cards for PC, workstations, motherboards, LCD TV and digital audio player. Regional HQ in Hong Kong, factories in China, strategic operation center in Singapore with contract manufacturers in Taiwan and Indonesia.

Position: PMC Manager (Production Material Control)

Reporting to: Assistant Operation Director

Job Responsibilities

• To manage the PMC Department in master scheduling, materials planning and finished goods delivery
• To monitor output performance of contractual manufacturers
• To ensure materials supply on-time for production
• To implement MRP system
• To develop effective material planning and controlling process strategically and to formulate internal policies
• To closely monitor and drive material supply for new products introduction
• To manage activities of the Inventory Control team
• To ensure optimum inventory accuracy, level, and turns, by developing and implementing proper inventory control procedures and techniques.

Job Requirements

• Degree in related disciplines At least 8 years' relevant working experience in production and material planning in electronic or computer components manufacturing industry, which at least 2 years in management position
• Familiar with MS office & MRP applications, knowledge of SAP is highly preferred
• Good command in spoken & written English as well as Putonghua to be able to communicate effectively with the local team in China, Taiwan
• Dynamic, able to work under pressure and deliver result independently
• Required to travel to and in China due to sited production plants and suppliers location

Work Arrangement

• Workplace: Raffles Place(town), Singapore
• Working hours: Mondays - Fridays(9am - 6pm)
