What this job involves:

1. Must be able to work in a fast-track environment with a proven record of delivery of technical projects within a similar role.
2. Client facing role, reporting project progress to senior members of the client team and stakeholders at relevant stages of the project.
3. Extensive leadership experience in Engineering / Construction field who will be the single point of contact on the owner's behalf.
4. Experience of successfully delivering medium to large sized construction projects and programmes.
5. Strong understanding of engineering design and operational aspects of mission critical facilities and infrastructure systems.
6. Deliver projects within the framework of environmental, sustainability, health and safety while maintaining focus on the time, cost, quality and risk management.
7. Identify early warnings and assist with client team to suggest and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
8. Manage project cost, change management process and check contractor invoices based on work done on site.
9. Manage schedule and cut-over / integration works and coordinate with the operations and facilities teams.

1. Review and get familiarized with all related project design & contract documentation, contractor submissions, procurement documents and tender packages, shop drawings, RFIs, etc.
2. Organize and attend all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings and other project relevant discussions.
3. Provide regular reports to the Client DCS team, and comments on the site QA/QC process.
4. Manage contract documentation.
5. Verify the contractor’s request for change orders.
6. Verify the contractor’s payment request, construction progress, etc.
7. Coordinate the review of shop drawings from contractors with consultant’s design documentation.
8. Prepare Project Update material for client and contractor meetings.
9. Updating the Project Cost Status report monthly.
10. Coordinate and follow up all comments from internal stakeholders.
11. Review submissions and RFI/RFP from contractors and responses from design team and internal partner team.
12. Tracking of work status which needs follow up actions.
13. Conduct regular site checks on installation method, workmanship and quality assurance process of consultants & contractors for the entire fit-out work from commencement to project handover e.g. Early Site Access (ESA), Facilities Ready (FR), Security Ready (SCR).
14. Other administrative works as required.

1. Must be able to work in a fast-track environment with construction site experience preferred.
2. Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a related field.
3. Strong understanding of new build / minor works construction projects cycle.
4. Project management qualification preferred (PMI / PMP).
5. Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
6. Logical approach and high attention to detail.
7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civils, Electrical, Mechanical), Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
8. Strong in providing and implementing Project Management methodology.
9. Experienced in managing consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
