The Role Responsibilities
The role holder is responsible for driving new-to-bank customer acquisition, with a focus on Priority Sign-Ups and targeted retail products.
- Acquire new high-net-worth (HNW) clients to join the bank’s Priority and Priority Private segments through targeted outreach, referrals, and strategic networking.
- Conduct professional needs analysis and position the bank’s wealth, investment, and banking solutions tailored to HNW clients.
- Build strong relationships with external introducers (e.g., property agents, brokers, premium service partners) to drive high-quality lead flow.
- Participate in client acquisition activities such as HNW events, lifestyle partnerships, seminars, and occasional weekend or after-hours engagements.
- Maintain high service and onboarding standards, ensuring smooth account opening, follow-up, and conversion of leads.
- Keep up to date with market developments, wealth offerings, and competitor propositions to effectively position the bank to affluent prospects.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in banking, wealth management, or affluent/HNW client acquisition.
- Proven track record in acquiring affluent or high-net-worth clients, with strong sales and conversion results.
- Strong understanding of wealth products, investment solutions, and the needs of affluent customers.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage HNW individuals and key partners.
- Highly driven, self-motivated, and able to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong professionalism, maturity, and customer-service orientation.
- Ability to represent the bank at premium events, seminars, and networking sessions.
- Diploma or Degree holder; relevant CMFAS certifications would be an added advantage.
