Account Assistant (Property Leasing Group)
We are a long-established property leasing group seeking a reliable and experienced Accounts Assistant to support rental and accounting operations across several companies within our group. This role is ideal for mature candidates who value stability, clear responsibilities, and a long-term working environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle rental collections, issue receipts, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain tenant accounts and prepare monthly reports for multiple group entities.
- Process supplier invoices and payments across different companies.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare GST F5 workings, schedules, and draft submissions
- Maintain proper accounting records for multiple entities, including companies with low‑volume transactions.
- Answer phone calls and assist tenants/suppliers with basic enquiries.
- Maintain audit and compliance documentation for tenancy agreements, deposits, and statutory filings.
- Provide general administrative support including filing, document organisation, and data updates.
- Perform any other duties or ad hoc tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level; aCertificate/Diploma in Accounting/Finance is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience — property or leasing experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office; comfortable with basic IT tasks.
- Comfortable speaking in Mandarin to liaise with tenants and suppliers.
- Detail‑oriented, reliable, and independent, with strong accuracy in routine tasks.
- Team player who can work well with colleagues across the group.
- Comfortable handling accounts for several entities within a group structure.
Employment Terms
- 5‑day work week (Mon–Fri).
- Office hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Location: Town area. (near Raffles Place MRT)
- 14 days annual leave.
