Project Manager
Job summary
A technology firm in Singapore seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead projects right from scope development to delivery. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in software development and project management, showcasing a proactive and innovative approach. Expertise in agile methods and fluency in Japanese (N2 level) are essential. The role also requires familiarity with tools like Trello and Slack, along with strong communication skills for client interactions.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in software development and project management.
- Fluency in written and oral Japanese (min. N2 proficiency certification).
- Experience with ISO and SOC certifications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop project scope and objectives, ensuring feasibility.
- Plan project timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for project execution.

- Develop and align with client for project scope, objectives and ensuring technical feasibility
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Manage project delivery from design, developments and QA teams based out of India
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Effectively communicate project expectations to client, project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Agile development methods
- Familiarity with project management techniques and tools such as Trello, Slack, Github, etc
- Excellent with the use of Microsoft tools such as Excel and Powerpoint
- Creative streak with good graphic design capabilities including the use of tools such as Zeplin
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language
- Experience with ISO and SOC certifications will be added advantage
- Familiarity with Django / Python framework is preferred
- Familiarity with Front end technologies such as Vue and React is preferred
- Ability to speak Japanese is required to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients

- You have 7-10 years of relevant work experience in software development, project management, and agile development demonstrating the qualities we require for you to be a good fit

- You have good client-facing, teamwork, multi-tasking, problem-solving and internal communication skills
- You have an outstanding educational background, preferably in the fields of Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
- You are available to start work immediately
- You have fluency in written and oral Japanese with min. N2 level proficiency certification
- You are willing to travel to Japan and work from our Japan office for extended periods to handle markets in Japan
