A tech solutions company in Singapore is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 3–5+ years in hands-on development. The role requires strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, and building custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. Ideal candidates will work in Agile environments, developing workflows across various ServiceNow modules like ITSM and CSM. Relevant certifications such as CSA and CAD are essential.
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 3–5+ years of hands‑on development experience to design, build, and enhance enterprise workflows and applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise across JavaScript, Glide API, custom app development, and integrations, along with the ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, scoped applications, App Engine applications, Flow Designer flows, and Integration Hub integrations.
Develop and enhance enterprise workflows across modules such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM, and CMDB.
Build and customize Service Portals, widgets, and UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and related technologies.
Develop server‑side and client‑side scripts using JavaScript and Glide API in accordance with best practices.
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and related integration patterns.
Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of incidents and defects.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, QA, and project managers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support production deployments, including occasional after‑hours release or maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, especially for public sector or BFSI environments (if applicable).
3–5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, server‑side and client‑side scripting.
Experience developing and customizing applications using:
App Engine
Scoped applications
Flow Designer and Integration Hub
Experience working with one or more ServiceNow modules: ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM, CMDB.
Strong understanding of REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, and API security concepts.
Experience building custom UI components, portals, or widgets (HTML/CSS/AngularJS).
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (App Engine or relevant workflow)
Additional micro‑certifications (Integration Hub, Flow Designer, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Willingness to support after‑hours production or release activities as needed.
Experience working in secure or regulated industries such as Public Sector or BFSI.
Familiarity with ServiceNow best‑practice design frameworks.
