Locum Assistant Teacher
Job summary
An early childhood care center in Singapore is seeking a candidate to assist teachers in providing activities and care for children. Responsibilities include supporting classroom management, ensuring a safe environment, and building relationships with parents and students. Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communication skills and have a passion for working with children. A medical test is required.
Qualifications
- Passion for children and ability to work with a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to take a medical test as part of the employment process.
Responsibilities
- Assist Teachers in providing experiences and activities for children.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for the children.
- Help with classroom management and routine establishment.
Skills
- Assist the Teachers in providing various experience and activities for children including songs, games and storytelling
- Assist the Teachers in establishing routines, providing positive guidance and building children's esteem
- Assist Teachers in the teaching and care of a class in accordance with the school’s agreed policies and guidelines
- Assist the Teachers in classroom management
- Building good rapport with parents, staff and students
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable
- To follow assigned work shift patterns of the centre.
- Perform other related duties as required
- Require to take Medical Test
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Have a passion for children
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
