Job summary
A biotechnology firm based in Singapore is seeking a CFO to lead financial planning and analysis while preparing for an IPO. The candidate should have an MBA, extensive experience in financial leadership, and a successful track record in handling IPOs, preferably in major markets. Responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, financial operations, and investor relations. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this high-level role.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in leading or supporting at least one successful IPO.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance and capital markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions.
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting and compliance.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and investment banks.

- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and compliance across subsidiaries.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, investment banks, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities during the IPO process.
- Develop and implement corporate governance, risk management, and internal control systems in line with public company standards.
- Work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to formulate long‑term financial and capital strategies.
- Oversee investor relations and ensure transparent communication with stakeholders and potential investors.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- MBA or equivalent master’s degree required.
- Proven track record in leading or supporting at least one successful IPO (preferably in Singapore, Hong Kong, or NASDAQ markets).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 3+ years in a CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and regulatory compliance for public listing.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or CFA are highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry will be an advantage.
