Qualifications

• Minimum Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) OR Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science.
• No experience required as training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers.
• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient.
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies.
• Perform billing functions.
• Ensure work area is ready for daily operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas.
• Ensure stocks are stocked up properly according to FEFO requirement.
• Able to use omnicell systems to determine stock availability.
• Ensure correct receiving of goods.
• Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically.
• Dispensing of medications to patients.
