Candidates should hold a relevant diploma and have at least 1 year of experience in the food industry. This full-time role involves collaboration with various departments, equipment inspections, and maintaining quality records.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in food industry or manufacturing.
- Knowledge in quality control processes and inspections.
- Ability to conduct microbial, sensory, and visual assessments.
Responsibilities
- Inspect factory equipment cleanliness before production.
- Conduct checks on raw materials and finished products for quality.
- Report any quality issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with departments for inspections and sampling.
- Verify certificates for standards compliance.
- Train new staff on quality control procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections.
- Perform equipment calibration as needed.
- Manage inventory and uphold lab cleanliness.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis for products.
- Support additional tasks assigned by the company.
- Oversee the overall quality control function.

- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Food, Nutrition & Culinary science related.
- At least 1 year experience in food industry / manufacturing
- Factory equipment cleanliness inspection before production.
- Conduct thorough checks on raw materials and finished products for quality, including microbial, sensory, and visual assessments.
- Promptly report any quality issues to supervisors for investigation and resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule material inspections and sampling.
- Verify certificates to ensure raw materials meet standards before use.
- Provide training for new staff members.
- Assist with audits, both internal and external.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Perform equipment calibration as required.
- Manage inventory and uphold lab cleanliness.
