As an Order Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless order processing and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing manual customer orders, verifying product availability, and accurately entering data into internal systems. Tracking and managing order status from confirmation to delivery will be a key focus to ensure timely and efficient service.Creating precise estimates and work orders based on customer requirements will be essential. Providing competitive quotes and conducting cost analysis from various vendors/sources will help in selecting the best quality product within budget and delivery timelines. Your role will involve addressing customer inquiries, complaints, escalations, and resolving issues related to deliveries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication.Collaborating with suppliers to confirm product availability and delivery schedules, as well as maintaining strong working relationships with vendors, will be part of your daily tasks. Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating restocking, and tracking timely, accurate, and damage-free deliveries will be crucial to meeting customer demands.In addition, you will be responsible for generating regular reports on order fulfillment, inventory levels, delivery timelines, and process improvements. Maintaining detailed order records for internal use and audits will contribute to the overall efficiency of the order management process.To excel in this role, you must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and order management systems. Your ability to multitask, manage priorities under tight deadlines, and approach problem-solving with a customer-first attitude will be key to success. Strong coordination, follow-up skills, and industry awareness will also be highly valued.Preferred qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in order management, customer service, or operations. Prior experience working with suppliers and B2B clients will be an advantage.This is a full-time position with a night shift schedule, and the work location is remote.
