A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in rotating equipment design for offshore and FPSO projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with project and safety standards, developing equipment specifications, and supporting procurement processes. The role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, focusing on innovative engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment design for offshore or FPSO projects.
- Strong knowledge of API, ASME, and other relevant standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software.
Responsabilités
- Develop specifications and datasheets for rotating equipment.
- Interface with engineering teams for proper equipment integration.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and client specifications.
- Assist in planning and scheduling of mechanical deliverables.

Responsible for the design, specification, and integration of rotating equipment systems within the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) design scope, ensuring compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Design & Engineering Develop specifications and datasheets for rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
Perform sizing and selection of equipment based on process requirements.
Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO). - Technical Coordination Interface with process, piping, and structural teams to ensure proper integration of rotating equipment.
Review vendor documents and provide technical clarifications.
Participate in design reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOP, etc.). - Quality & Compliance Ensure equipment meets project quality standards and client specifications.
Support procurement by evaluating technical bids and vendor capabilities. - Project Support Assist in planning and scheduling of mechanical deliverables.
Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment design for offshore or FPSO projects.
- Strong knowledge of API, ASME, and other relevant standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., Compress, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
