A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to provide patient education, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Medical Technology or related fields and relevant experience. Certification such as CPSGT or RPSGT is preferred. This role requires willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum degree in Medical Technology, Health Sciences or Biomedical Science is required.
- Experience from an accredited facility is preferred.
- CPSGT or RPSGT certification is a plus.
Responsabilités
- Provide patient education and generate reports for studies.
- Evaluate and treat disorders under supervision.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives.
- Operate and maintain equipment as per guidelines.
- Monitor diagnostic equipment functionality.
Connaissances
Formation
The incumbent will be responsible to:
- Provide patient education, troubleshoot and generate reports for inpatient and outpatient studies
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of disorders under general supervision of clinical lead
- Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives
- Assemble, check, operate and maintain equipment and instruments based on hospital and manufacturer’s established guidelines and procedures
- Monitor the functionality of diagnostic and technical equipment to maintain safety standard
- Minimum Degree in Medical Technology, Health Sciences or Biomedical Science
- Preferably with relevant experience from accredited facility
- Preferably Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or with Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
- Willing to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays
