Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a technician to perform maintenance on conveyor systems. The ideal candidate has a NITEC in Mechatronic Engineering and at least 2-3 years of experience in conveyor systems maintenance and repair. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and a willingness to work flexible hours.
Qualifications
- NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechatronic Engineering, or its equivalents.
- At least 2 to 3 years of working experience preferably in conveyor systems maintenance and repair.
- Familiar with different types of conveyors such as belt, roller, chain‑driven.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, and basic knowledge of electrical controls.
- Ability to work independently and respond to breakdowns promptly.
- Able to work in fast‑paced or high‑temperature environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on conveyor systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on various types of conveyor equipment.
- Carry out repairs, adjustments, and part replacements as needed.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate service logs and report findings to the maintenance supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during all work activities.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE during maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the replacement of minor mechanical components as needed.

- Salary: $1800 to $2500
- Work Week: Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 6.00 pm)
- Minimum Qualification: NITEC
- Experience: 2 to 3 years
