Job summary

A scientific instruments service company in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to manage the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of scientific analytical instruments. The ideal applicant will have a degree in engineering and possess strong customer service skills, as well as experience in servicing related products. This role requires self-motivation and the ability to work independently, along with good planning abilities and customer orientation.

Qualifications

  • Preferably more than 2 - 4 years’ experience in servicing scientific analytical instruments.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
  • Preferably possess own transport.

Responsibilities

  • Provide installation, commissioning, training, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing at customer sites.
  • Liaise and work with customers to address service concerns.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Job description

The Applicants for this position should be self-motivated, mature, fast learner and able to work independently with the following qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in (Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Chemical Engineering) or equivalent qualification
  • Preferably more than 2 - 4 years’ working experience in servicing scientific analytical instruments.
  • Knowledge of scientific and analytical analyzer such as Particle Size Analyzer, X-ray Fluorescence, Spectroscopy, ICP Spectrometer would be advantageous.
  • Customers oriented with positive attitude and willing to take on challenges.
  • Good planning and time management skills to achieve job efficiency.
  • Good Attitude, Self-motivated, Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Preferably possess own transport
  • Able to travel overseas

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Installation, Commissioning, Training, Calibration, Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Repairing of related products at customer sites.
  • Liaise and work with customers to address any service concerns and provide solution on the technical problems
  • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing good services support.
  • Identifying potential opportunities to get new preventive maintenance contract
  • Working closely with our internal sales and technical team.
  • Providing training to end users and distributors.
  • Prepare service and spare parts quotations to customers enquiries
