Job summary

A global technology leader in Singapore is seeking a Service & Repair Technician II to diagnose and repair aircraft components. This role involves performing inspections, assemblies and ensuring quality standards are met. Preferred candidates will have an NTC certificate or higher and at least 18 months of aviation experience. This position also requires a commitment to long hours and allows for training in both morning and night shifts.

Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and communicate in English.
  • 18 months of aviation experience in mechanical trade preferred.
  • Committed and willing to work long hours.
  • Open to permanent night shift, with initial training in morning shift.

As a Service & Repair Technician II here at Honeywell, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, ensuring top quality and performance. Your role will enhance service efficiency and reliability for optimal customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General knowledge of usage of hand tools and precision measuring instruments is a requirement.
  • Expected to perform receiving inspection, disassembly, cleaning, parts inspection, assembly and test of aircraft components.
  • Will be trained in handling aircraft components types: Cooling turbines, turbo compressors, pneumatic & electro‑pneumatic valves, air turbine starters, pneumatic drive actuators and refrigeration units.
  • Ensures that work carried out meets the required quality as stated in the respective manual.
  • Initiate & implement continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
  • Must have at least a NTC certificate or higher and be able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Personnel having at least 18 months of aviation experience in mechanical trade would strongly be considered.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skill.
  • Committed and willing to work long hours.
  • Good understanding of 5S concepts.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Open to permanent night shift (10:30pm - 7:48am), first 3 months will be on the job training morning shift (7:30am to 4:48pm).
