Job summary
A leading security systems firm in Singapore is seeking a technician to handle commissioning and maintenance of security systems. Responsibilities include training end-users and inspecting installations to ensure compliance with technical standards. Candidates should have a diploma or NITEC in a related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience. This position offers an opportunity to provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Attend site commissioning sessions with customers and contractors.
- Conduct end-user training on security systems.
- Inspect contractor installation work for compliance.
- Document commissioning activities and provide reports.
- Respond to customer service calls and troubleshoot issues.

- Conduct end-user training on the operation and maintenance of Intruder Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
- Inspect and verify contractor installation work to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
- Confirm installations and configurations meet specifications stated in quotations or work orders.
- Document commissioning activities and provide reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to customer service calls and troubleshoot system issues on-site.
- Diagnose, repair, and test faulty equipment or system components.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Liaise with internal teams and suppliers for parts replacement or technical escalation when required.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and quality service delivery.
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties as assigned.
- Diploma or NITEC in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of commissioning, maintenance, or customer service experience in security systems (e.g., Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, or similar low-voltage systems).
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills.
