Job summary

A public transportation company in Singapore is seeking a Technical Officer for BPLRT Rolling Stock maintenance. The role involves executing maintenance tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and participating in technical training. Candidates should possess a minimum NITEC in Engineering and have a good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential. The position requires physical fitness for maintenance tasks, including lifting and working at heights.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification is NITEC in an Engineering discipline.
  • Good understanding of electrical, mechanical and electronics engineering.
  • Proficient in at least one of the three engineering areas.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance activities on BPLRT network as assigned.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance within established standard times.
  • Participate and complete necessary technical skills training.

Skills

Able to use general tools and equipment

Possess basic MS Office skills
Able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
