Contract Specialist Manager
Job summary
A leading commodity trader in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to join as a Contract Specialist Manager. The role involves assisting traders with contract preparation, liaising with legal counsel, and managing documentation. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Law, and at least 2 years of paralegal experience. This position is based in the CBD area and requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Paralegal experience.
- Knowledge on financial terms is essential.
- Basic understanding of logistics such as Incoterms.
Responsibilities
- Assist traders with the preparation of contract sheets.
- Liaise with trading desk and finance team for contracts.
- Review contract sheets and liaise with legal counsel.

Education
Our hiring company is one of the leading commodity trader for metals in the region. Due to expansion, the Singapore office is looking for an experienced individual in the area of contract management to join its rank as a Contract Specialist Manager.
- Assist traders with the preparation of contract sheets within stipulated timelines.
- Liaise with trading desk and structured finance team for preparation of contract sheets.
- Review of contract sheets for company, and liaise with legal counsel if required.
- Prepare documents for registration of pledge/collateral.
- Provision of advice for other law-related issues of company operations.
- Preparation of monthly report for both Company Management and Shareholders.
- Liaison with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor Degree or higher, preferably Bachelor of Laws
- At least 2 years of Paralegal experience
- Knowledge on financial terms
- Basic understanding of logistics such as Incoterms
- General understanding of contract requirement for Trading business
- Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment
- Office within CBD
