Baseload Maintenance Engineer (Systems & Network Maintenance Engineer)
Job summary
A consulting firm is seeking a Baseload Maintenance Engineer to maintain and support enterprise infrastructure. Responsibilities include system troubleshooting, compliance adherence, and network security support in a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in IT or related fields, with at least two years of IT systems experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT systems, network, and security administration.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and operational support experience.
- Good understanding of infrastructure, security, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform system patching, server/workstation setup, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Support VAPT activities, remediation, and security compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with CIS Benchmarks, CCOP (CSA), and IM8 policies.

Our client is seeking a Baseload Maintenance Engineer/Systems & Network Maintenance Engineer to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure, network, and security systems, ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational stability in a mission-critical environment.
- Perform system patching, server/workstation setup, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Support VAPT activities, remediation, and security compliance requirements
- Administer Windows Server (2022+), Windows 11, and RHEL 8+ environments
- Support network and security products including Fortinet firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, and tools such as Splunk, Trellix, CyberArk, IBM Guardium
- Ensure compliance with CIS Benchmarks, CCOP (CSA), and IM8 policies
- Provide support for audits, incidents, disaster recovery exercises, and ad-hoc network issues
- Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT systems, network, and security administration
- Hands‑on troubleshooting and operational support experience
- Good understanding of infrastructure, security, and compliance standards
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
