Job summary
A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Truck Driver to operate their vehicles for waste collection. Candidates must possess a valid Class 4/5 driving license and have experience with prime mover, vacuum trucks, or flatbeds. Responsibilities include following traffic and safety regulations, ensuring proper maintenance, and assisting with waste management. This role offers a gross salary ranging from $3,500 to $4,500, along with allowances for transport. Interested applicants should include their notice period and salary expectations in their resumes.

Responsibilities
- Drive the Company’s truck for waste collection and transportation.
- Comply with all Traffic rules and safe driving habits.
- Monitor Maintenance and Inspection schedules of the trucks.
- Adhere to all Plant Safety Rules and observe safe work practices.
Skills
- Working hours: 5.5 days Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm; Saturday: 8am to 12noon
- Location: Tuas (Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate travel to work by themselves)
- Basic $2400 + Trip Allowances, Gross Salary: $3,500 – $4,500 (Inclusive of trip allowance)
- Possess Class 4/5 driving license (Good record)
- With prime mover, vacuum truck or flatbed experience preferred.
To drive the Company’s truck for collection and transportation of wastes.
To comply with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Company’s trucks.
To comply with all rules governing the transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on public roads.
To comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers, bins, drums etc., are used to hold the Waste, for safe transportation.
To ensure that the containers, bins, drums etc., are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off.
To perform Operator’s Level daily maintenance of the Company’s trucks.
To monitor the Maintenance and/or LTA’s Inspection schedules of the Company’s trucks and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the due date.
To monitor the validity date of the Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance policy and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the expiry date.
To assist in the collection of waste from clients’ premises.
To assist in the unloading, segregation, and storage of the Waste.
